Writing for a living

There is a difficult decision to make when deciding that writing for the internet might be a way to make a liviing.  The most difficult choice I had to make was in deciding whether I wanted to work for less than a penny a word when starting out.  Given the fact that I am only able to craft decent writing at a rate of 500 words or so an hour, and that I live in the US, this didn’t seem to be a viable alternative.

Given that all the sites I was aware of for marketing my writing skills were those that offered content at those rates, It took qquite a while to make the decision to begin writing for pay.  It is probable that I would still be dithering if not for running across a chance reference to a sit called Constant Content.

Now I regularly right content for that site, guest post on a blog at EmpireMarketing.ca, and espouse my own opinions atDannyMcConnell.com.
