With any business, whether you are just starting out or remodeling the existing office, you are going to have to have some place for every one to sit. If you don’t have a budget then you can go with every thing being totally brand new, or if you do have a budget, you may want to consider finding a place where you can get your chairs pre-owned.

Some people are funny about used office furniture chairs, reception chairs or even their own office chair having been used by some one else. But the money you could save by getting them pre-owned is phenomenal. It could be in the thousands. But again, if money is no object, then new is the way to go. You will also have to decide if you want them made out of wood, metal or plastic. Remember, there will be quite a few hours spent in these chairs, so make them the most comfortable that you can, no matter what the cost.

The first thing some one sees when they walk into your office is the reception area. You will never get a second chance at a first impression. Will you choose ultra modern or front room cozy? You probably knew your own office chair would need to be something special. It won’t hurt to take some measurements of you and your staff to find just the right fit. Think of it as an adventure, a treasure hunt of sorts, or even a good game of hide and seek.
